The true historical centre is of very little walking distance from Trastevere and can be reached by either the bus or the tram.

Gianicolo is found above Trastevere, and Monteverde area begins here and it is where you can admire the most beautiful view of Rome. A wonderful choice for those who would like to pass a romantic evening in Rome. Finding parking in Trastevere is not impossible, but is all paid parking.

The Vatican Basilica is found slightly outside of the historical centre and borders the area of Prati, one of the most pleasant and well-served areas of the city. This area offers a relaxing, enjoyable vacation, especially since it is well-connected with either buses, trams or the metro.

Piazza Re di Roma is very much visited, along with Via Appia Nuova and Via Sannio, where you can find many shops and stores for shopping. Normally the prices are lower than in the centre, and for who will have a car can find paid parking a bit easier than in the centre. A visit to the archaeological area on Via Appia and to the Aqueduct park would be extremely interesting.
