The apartment is located a few steps from the Vatican Museums. Therefore, the whole area of the Vatican can be easily visited with a nice walk. The metro stop Cipro/Musei Vaticani is at a 300 meters distance and you can reach Piazza di Spagna with only 4 stops.
To reach the apartment from the the Roman airports (Ciampino or Fiumicino) you should take the train that connects them to Termini central railway station and then take metro Line A and go out at the Cipro/Musei Vaticani stop.
