Reviews of our Rome City Apartments from previous Guests

Santiago P. – Spain – Stayed in the Paradiso4 apartment in January 2013.
La ubicación es excelente,yo lo recomiendo,me encanto , mil gracias a Stefano por su amabilidad y responsabilidad.

Nicholas B. – Australia – stayed in the Helios2 apartment in January 2013.

Location was excellent near Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Vatican and Colusseum. Also many reasonably priced restaurants close by. Apartment was comfortable, clean and secure. Staff were located off site but helpful and accommodating. The only minus is that we needed to supply own dish washing liquid and tea towel.

Tetiana G. – Ukraine – stayed in the Royale apartment in January 2013.
The apartment is very comfortable. We really felt like at home. There is everything you need to have breakfast or drink a bottle of wine at home.

Tina W. – Australia – Stayed in the Stelletta2 apartment in January 2013.
Hi Angelo
We’re now back home in Australia enjoying the warmth after our travels in colder climates.
Thank you for a lovely stay in Rome – the apartment was beautiful and very stylish. It’s location was perfect for visiting the all famous sights.
I’ll be happy to recommend you to our friends and family for their holidays in the future.
Thanks
Tina and Garry W.

Lap Li – Taiwan – Stayed in the Aurora apartment in December 2012.

The apartment is very clean, quiet and nice. Perfect location to restaurant, Metro, and Spanish step.

Kate K – United Kingdom – Stayed in the Royale apartment in December 2012

Great apartment with a few little issues but overall would recommend it for price and location!! Really only complete bathroom and extra very tiny toilet off the kitchen and a few extra utensils and dishtowels etc in the kitchen would be good. Clean and comfortable andplenty of room for 4 adults. The absolute best location ever you can really walk everywhere even to the vatican (only 20 mins stroll) loved our stay at the Royale and would definately stay there again.

Veronique N. – France – Stayed in the Onlyone apartment in December 2012.

Merci beaucoup!!

Doug V. – United States – Stayed in the Stelletta2 apartment in December 2012.

we stayed at Via Della Stellatta No. 5 over Xmas 2012. There was 4 of us in all including my wife, my two sons ages 26 & 22 and myself. The space was plenty for all of us. The location was perfect. We could always find our way home knowing we were about a block from the Pantheon which everyone locally knows where it is so when we would get lost or turned around we could easily get back en route. We could walk to all of the sites in the city. The local shops were great as we cooked dinner a couple of nights and utilized the butcher shop and patisserie around the corner. Also the ‘Super Mercato’ had the basics that we needed (milk, juice…) this was very close to the Pantheon. Also the restaurant straight out the front door, down the alley way was terrific (cant find the name)..and its open 24 hrs a day! Marco and Stefano were very helpful. The whole experience with Rome City Apartments was terrific. we used romecabs.it for our trip back to FCO. Highly recommend!

Eliane R. – France – Stayed in the Mirkos apartment in December 2012.

after a weekend of 7 to 10 December 2012 finding an apartment ideally located in a small street near Piazza di Spagna (for the subway when necessary), but also the Pantheon and Piazza del Popolo. This is an area of small shops. Benefits are of good quality in each room with 2 bathrooms cute (small shower but you can not have everything!) The storage possibilities are excellent. We said Stefano enhance the insulation of the window on the dining room to the sounds of the street, but honestly, we are very (very) good night’s sleep. In the winter, the heating works very well. Stefano speaks French very well and the team is always available and very helpful.

Melissa P. – Norway – Stayed in the Onlyone apartment in November 2012.

The apartment was just as in the pictures, clean, modern and super nice. It is well equipped with kitchen utilities, and a very nice bath. The location is also very central, and the metro is only 50m away. The host agency was hands on with regards to any questions we had prior to booking. We had a lovely short stay in Rome, and we recommend Roem City Apartments!!

Thanya S. – USA – Stayed in the Mirkos2 apartment in November 2012.

The apartment was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The location is central to many of the major sites.

Liudmila G. Italy – Stayed in the Onlyone apartment in November 2012.

Bettina B. – Netherlands – Stayed in the Athena apartment in November 2012.

When I booked an apartment I was looking forward to it, but my experience was better than my expectations. The Apartment was very clean, nice furnished and kitchen was fully equipped for reasonable price. The Apartment had good accessibility by public transportation and was in good area. We appreciated it very much because we came by train. It was was not only good but perfectly calm. There was almost no noise at day and at night at all. When I go there again I would like to stay in the same apartment if it is free. I will recommend it to everybody who want to have a nice stay in good accommodation in Rome.

Elizabeth A. – USA – Stayed in the Hermione apartment in November 2012.

This is a very nice and spacious apartment in a convenient location in Rome. Very nicely appointed. The agency was very responsive to requests and went the extra mile. Great location near the Trevi Fountain!

Sophie G. – Australia – Stayed in the Fandango apartment in November 2012.

We really enjoyed our time there and we were extremely impressed by the standard of the apartment. We stayed at the Fandango apartment and it was truly magnificent. As a group of 8 twenty-somthing year-olds we weren’t expecting the extremely high quality for the very reasonable (almost cheap!) price of the apartment. From the windows we could see the Colosseum and it was very easy to get to the main sites in Rome by walking or taxi. There was more than enough room in this apartment and even extra rooms upstairs which could fit another 4 or more people! The owners themselves were extremely friendly (even with limited English) and helped us when trying to get some tickets posted directly to the apartment. Everything that was mentioned in the description and in the pictures was very accurate, if not better. We have recommended this apartment to all our friends and family and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Michel G. – France – Stayed in the Fellini apartment in November 2012.

Positive Centrally located Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Chiesa dei cappuccinos, Trinita dei Monti chiesa held by a French congregation with beautiful songs.  The rental agency, provided us with transportation for five people from Fiumicino airport for 60 € Sunday, same return. Wifi ok. Calm. Cons 2nd floor with marble steps high enough.Be careful not to slam the door inadvertently it scared disturb the neighbor. Restaurants tend to raise addition, attention. Conclusion I knew what to expect because I had consulted other rental sites that featured reviews of this apartment. For me, the trip was successful.

Alain V. – France – Stayed in the Croce apartment in October 2012.

Très satisfait de ce sejour – appartement calme et bien situé, bons commerces (boulangerie et traiteur) ainsi que nombreux restaurants à proximité. Seul point négatif, la salle de douche couplée aux toilettes est exigue et probleme d’odeur.

Shannon R. – Ireland – Stayed in the Mirkos2 apartment in October 2012.

This apartment was even better than the pictures! It had three very comfortable bedrooms with comfortable beds, two nice big bathrooms and large living room and kitchen and washer. There was two big windows in the living room that opened up to the quant street below. We found fantastic dining choices very close as well as little markets for fresh Cheese, Fruit, Salami, Bread, Olives, Milk and Wine! The location was fabulous a short walk to everywhere! We were about a 3 min walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square and 10 min from the Vatican. There is a cab stop just in front if you prefer. We took a cab to the Coliseum to save time cost about eight Euros.

Steven F. – United Kingdom – Stayed in the Onlyone apartment in October 2012.

We had an excellent stay in this apartment. When compared with what would be available in a hotel, this apartment represents extremely good value for money. Clean, well equipped and well situated near the Vatican and the metro, it was very easy to get back to the apartment in the afternoon and then head out again in the evening. We were met by one of the agency’s staff for the key handover and only have to leave the key on the counter when leaving. Also, good restaurants in the neighborhood and a sweet little café next door for morning coffee and pastries. If I had one negative comment, I would say I found the apartment dark as the windows only give on to the courtyard, however, the main road is very busy, so we were spared any noise on the street. I would not only recommend this apartment, but I would stay in it again myself

Anne B. – France – Stayed in the Molieri apartment in Trastevere in October 2012.

Bonjour,

Kim H. – Germany – Stayed in the Royale apartment in October 2012.

beautiful apartment (like on the photos), great location in the center of antique Rome, clean and neat. Just missed the fifth star because a coffee maker was missing and the toilet door didn´t close.

Sueanne B – Australia – Stayed in the Aurora apartment in October 2012.

I recently stayed in this apartment with 4 other friends for 4 nights and it definitely exceeded expectations. PROS: – Great location and neighbourhood, with the Spanish Steps about a 5 minute walk away, metro stop also close by, and restaurant and shops all within walking distance – Plenty of space, even for the 5 of us and having 2 bathrooms was great – Met by Stefano’s colleague who was very helpful – Had all necessities working at our fingertips: wifi, washing machine, kitchen, ironing etc – The elevator was a godsend especially since they are so rare for such old buildings CONS: – Taxi’s refused to pick us up from Roma Termini train station because we were that close to the city centre but that’s no fault of the apartment. On the other hand, it is a good 20 minute walk with luggage! Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay and would definitely consider it again if I came back to Rome.

Emma H. – UK – Stayed in the Andres apartment in October 2012.

very clean, spacious apartment. excellent location. Excellent service for meeting us at the apartment on arrival. The only thing i would request is more towels. As we were traveling from abroad we did not pack any towels and there was only one large and one small towel for 2 of us. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Justine M. – France – Stayed in the Mirkos2 apartment in October 2012.

The appartement is extremely nice (modern, new, good shape, spacious, calm) and super well located (walking distance to everything) It was just perfect for us and everything very qualitative. I would go again any time!

Joanna S. – United Kingdom – Stayed in the Andres apartment in October 2012.

Great location and nicely furnished apartment. Easy to get to all the tourist hotspots, you can really come and go as you please. Only major problem we experience was when we bought some wine which had a cork but there was no corkscrew! Anyway the next day we bought one and left it at the apartment so now its fully equipped!

Andrey G. – Russia -Stayed in the Onlyone apartment in October 2012.

Great location: 5 minutes to the Vatican Museums, 7 minutes to the Cathedral of St. Peter, 100 meters to the subway, there are a lot of restaurants for every taste. The apartment is new, great design, quiet and very clean, pictures correspond to reality. The owner speaks English and Russian. Thank you Rome City Apartments.

Elin T. – Sweden – Stayed in the Alba apartment in October 2012.

Great apartment, just like the pictures. Very fresh and clean. The San Lorenzo area is an authentic Rome are with a lot of restaurants and people on the street but not many tourists. Connected to Colosseum with the tram and about 15 minutes walk to termini (not the nicest street to walk on though). The only negative thing was that there is a lot of people out on the streets, especially during the weekends, and it can be a little bit noisy. But it should be said that the windows are good isolated. Everything went good with the host and my family (that visited me) were really happy!

Ailsa D. – Australia – Stayed in the Aurora apartment in October 2012.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this apartment. The location was great, in a safe area just inside the old walls and very near the beautiful Borghese park. The apartment was very clean and large enough for the five of us to stay in comfort. Stefano and co went out of their way to help us.. They organised our transfers from the airport and to Civitavecchia and suggested some really different interesting places to visit in Rome. The concierge at the entrance also made us feel very welcome. Thank you, Stefano and Johnny – and see you next time!

Dorothy B. – United Kingdom – Stayed in the CasaErika apartment in October 2012.
We have just returned from our stay in Rome and Casa Erika.

The apartment was great and very convenient for getting around Rome.

Although we were out most of the time we particularly enjoyed the terrace.

It there was one thing that might have been easier it would have been to have had a second set of keys – but we didn’t ask so maybe we could have had that.

Thank you for a great place to stay.

Regards

Dorothy

Anna T. – USA – Stayed in the Stelletta apartment in September 2012.

The apartment was in a fantastic location, we could walk anywhere we wanted! Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, everything is very close by. There is a wonderful little bakery just on the corner underneath the apartment. It was the perfect place to grab breakfast. The apartment was on the top floor with no elevator, so be careful if you have heavy bags! The apartment was wonderful and matched the photos perfectly. It was absolutely perfect for two people. Thank you!

Yoko – France – Stayed in the Albert apartment in September 2012.

Very cozy place. Apartment clean and good facilities. Ideally placed for visiting the historic city center. Recommend.

Sandy – Australia – Stayed in the Hermione apartment in September 2012.

Imagine church bells, and a view of the end of the Trevi fountain, a huge apartment and sound proof windows in the most exciting part of Rome. Well here is is amazing. There was an additional cost for air conditioning of 5 Euros per day you might want to pay for upfront. The apt is good value so would recommend Rome City Apartments rolls it into the price. Felt like a local in this wonderful home.

Shakira P. – Puerto Rico – Stayed in the Hermione apartment in September 2012.

The apartment is exactly like it appears in the pictures. It is lovely. We were a family of 5 adults and a 3 year old. You take 50 steps from the building and you are in Trevi Fountain. The area is safe and even though it is next to a very touristic area it is very quiet. From what we noticed, the building is a office building, but you do not notice it. The apartment has all the charm one is looking for when you stay in Rome. I’ve been to Rome twice and this is the first time we stayed in a apartment. Best decision we made. When we return to Rome, we will most definitely stay in this apartment. LOVED IT.

Katherine P. – United Kingdom – Stayed in the Elsupremo apartment in 2011.

I stayed in this very apartment with friends last year. clean and spacious and a very short walk to the vatican wall. id definately book again with romecity :)

Miroslaw W. – Poland – Stayed in the Elsupremo apartment in September 2012.

We had a good, comfortable stay at the apartment. Located on the first floor (there’s a lift!) was spacious enough for our group of 5 (with an elderly person and a child)and had a good location – close to the Vatican (10 – 15 minute walk) and a metro station (witha direct connection to the Termini station). A lot of cafes, restaurants nearby, supermarket close enough and a bakery right “at the door” were a big plus. Overall, a nice, comfortable place for a visit in Rome! :-)

Kent K – Canada – Stayed in the Mirkos apartment in August 2012.

The location of the flat is perfect. It is a short walk to almost everything you would want to do in Rome. It is a couple of blocks from the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. You are only about 1.5 blocks away from an area filled with restaurants, stores and gelato places. The pictures are an accurate representation of the flat. You need to leave the 1 bedroom door open if you want to have the A/C cool that room however there is a ceiling fan in that room which keeps it cool. There is a grocery store a couple of blocks away where you can buy what you need (food, dish soap, toilet paper etc). We were happy with the location and the help provided by Rome City Apartments and would stay in his location again.

Daniel Bruneau – Canada – Stayed in the Pinklady apartment in July 2012

The apartment we rented has exceeded our expectations. The apartment is large and is well set up. The area is very quiet but with good access to the buses and train.
The one thing that I missed was a printer for the computer. It would be nice to be able to print tickets for events or transport and be able to check in to our airline online.
Thank you
Daniel

Zivjena – USA – Stayed in the Benhur apartment in Trastevere in July 2012

Excellent location – lots of restaurants around and accessible to all major sites on foot. Excellent transport service from airport to the apartment.

Sarah N – Uk – Stayed in the Helios2 apartment in June 2012

Myself and my mother stayed in the Helios2 in June and were delighted by the fantastic location of the apartment- it is a stones throw away from the Pantheon and just outside the door are fantastic restaurants, ice-cream parlours and boutique style shops. The area also felt very safe- even my mum was happy wondering around at 1am! The apartment itself was exactly as it advertised- it is also spotless and felt very spacious. The agency itself were fantastic- all my emails were responded to quickly, the taxi was waiting for us at the airport and collecting the keys was very quick- I did worry about this but everything was ready for me to sign so the process was very fast. I certainly would recommend not only the apartment but also Rome City apartments.

Uri – Switzerland – Stayed in the Royale apartment in June 2012

This apartment is modern, newly renovated two bedroom apartment with one shower room/toilet and one separate toilet. It is ideal for two couples or a family with up to two kids. The location is absolutely amazing, where Piazza Di Venezia, the Pantheon and Fountain Di Trevi can all be reached within a 5-10 minute walk. There is wifi and cable Tv. The beds are a tiny bit hard, bit if you’re used to it you’ll sleep just fine, as the apartment is really quiet despite the central location. I definitely recommend Stefano and the Piè Di Marmo apartment.

Andrzej Szewc – Poland – Stayed in the Whitenight apartment in April 2012.

We used your Whitenight apartment on Piazza della Rotonda back in April and I was very satisfied with it.
Sincerely
Andrzej Szewc

No way I will be deceived by a reservation made with Rome City Apartments :-)   Thanks we had a great time in Rome and as always the apartment was beautiful.

Valentin Safranov – Russia – Stayed in the Helios2 apartment in May 2012

These appartments are great for everyone who wants to live with comfort in center of ancient Rome. Near good food shops, a lot of cafes and restaurants, and famous monuments and views. Inside apartments are very cosy and a lot of space for family for 4 persons. Stefano is very polite and accurate and friendly. We will recommend this place to everyone who want to rest in Rome with comfort and really remember Rome in the best way.

Jim Faucera – USA – Stayed in the CasaErika apartment in May 2012

Good morning Francesco, This is Jim Faucera. Wanted to thank you for a great time in Roma. The Apt. Casa Erika was great!

Anton Sobolev – Russia – Stayed in the Mirkos apartment in May 2012

I enjoyed staying at this place. Location of the flat is wonderful! All the main sights are in walking accessibility!

Charlotte Ingeson – Sweden – Stayed in the Eternity apartment in April/May 2012.

The apartment was small but cozy. It lay on a small street, where it did not drive any cars. We were four people for this one bedroom apartment with sofa bed in the living room, they were ok. It was nice and clean and the sheets and towels were clean and fresh. In the kitchen there was everything that we needed, as the micro. There was a small shop just 50 meters meters from the apartment.

Bonjour Stefano,

Je n’hésiterai pas à donner votre adresse de site à des amis qui souhaiteraient visiter ROME

Au plaisir de vous recontacter même pour une location de 3 jours car ROME est vraiment magnifique et je ne me lasse pas de la visiter.

Claude Astier – Belgium – Stayed in the Mirkos2 apartment – March 2012.

Francesco, this is a quick note to tell you how much we have enjoyed our stay in the Mirkos2 apartment. The apartment was perfect, exactly as seen in the pictures. We had great expectations about it and we have not been deceived. It was super clean and the location was the best we could have: right in the heart of the city. Checking in with you was also very pleasant as all the advice on restaurants, shops etc we had been given have been really helpful as we did not know Rome (It was our first visit). We will recommend your company and this apartment with no hesitations to all our friends.

Joseph – Austria – Stayed at Moma apartment – January 2012.

I strongly recomend this company. At first it was some problems in communication by mail, but finally we were very satisfied with their services. Apartment is very large, cozy and equipped well. Localisation is absolutely perfect (the very center of Rome, near Piazza Navona). The apartment has everything what we need: TV, kitchen, fridge, plates, cutlery, pots, hairdryer, heating. The office where we got the keys is close to the Termini station. We haven’t to pay a deposit (200€). Everything was perfect.

Michal – Poland – Stayed at Tatiana apartment – January 2012

Hi,

We are very satisfied with your services. The apartment was cozy and equipped well. Localisation was absolutely perfect. Thanks a lot and see you at our next visit to Rome!

Good morning,
We have enjoyed staying at Elsupremo this week.

Thank you,

Phil  - UK – December 2011 –  Apartment Mirkos2

Hi

I booked the Mirkos2 apartment when we visited Rome 5th-7th December 2011.I just wanted to e-mail and thank you for your excellent service and to say that the Mirkos2 apartment was our perfect weekend vacation rental. Mirkos2 had extremely high quality fittings and furnishings, it was clean and spacious just as shown in your website. The apartment location is excellent being right in the centre of all the attractions and only a few hundred yards from the Pantheon with some excellent restaurants nearby. My only recommendation is that the apartment should really have a kettle to boil water for tea and some wine glasses. I’m sure they can be provided by the owner. Overall we had a brilliant weekend and if when we come back to Rome we will book again.

Thank you once again

Phil Holloway & Family

Sarah – UK – November 2011 – Apartment Tatiana

I found your company to be very professional. You were very fast at contacting us after every email I sent you, you were very helpful when we checked in. You gave us a discount on the other people that were staying at the flat and the flat was in a very good condition.

I really appreciate all of this and would like to say, that I often come to Rome and I would be more than happy to book an apartment through your company again. I am away for work for the rest of the week, but next week, on my return, I will add a comment to trip advisor about my positive experience in working with you. I do believe it is important to leave positive feedback, as often when people leave feedback it is due to a negative experience.

So, thank you for helping us to stay in one of the most beautiful corners of Rome, with the best place to eat, just a 5 minute to walk over the bridge :)

Best wishes,

Sarah.

Julia Pavlovna – Russia – July 2011 – Apartment Helios

The apartment is big and nicely done. We needed 2 double bedrooms for us and our friends and another bedroom with 2 single beds for the kids. We’ve been doing lots of search before booking this apartment and we found out that there are not many 3 bedrooms apartments available in central Rome. We’re glad we choose this one as it met all our expectations. It is on the first floor and is bright enough considering that the Pantheon area – where the apartment is located – is the most ancient in Rome and all buildings have been built centuries ago close one to another, facing small but unique and picturesque small streets. The apartment was pretty clean, well equipped and all the appliances were working properly. Communication with the agency was really impressive as they answered our e-mails and our questions promptly, generally within one hour! Our tip: try the Pistacchio gelatto at Giolitti’s, the best ice-cream we’ve ever had. We’ll be back for sure.

Gunter – Germany – November 2010 – Apartment Royale

This apartment is in the center of Rome, close to Pantheon. We were very happy with our choice as we’ve rented other apartments around Europe and we believe this one is the best we had, considering the price we paid. Everything in the apartment is of a good quality and well maintained and very clean. We had two bedrooms with two big and comfortable beds and two bathrooms. The apartment has also a nice view from the living room as it is on the 5th floor of the building (with a small lift). The people of the agency were always very friendly. All in all a very good experience.

Lakemba – Australia – May 2011 – Mirkos apartment

Leaving from Rome Termini station to find the agents location to get the keys and then travel to the apartment was a bit of a struggle for 4 people with bags. You will need to get a taxi to the agency and then to the apartment. The agent was very efficient, with good English and provided advice on the area we would be staying in which proved extremely helpful. The apartment would be difficult to find at first unless you know the area, with most maps being inadequate due to the maze of small streets, so definitely catch a taxi.. Once you arrive however it doesn’t take long to get your bearings and it is a pleasure to walk through the neighbourhood which is mostly residential with many small shops, restaurants & bars. Butcher and small supermarket are within 100 meters.
The property itself, on the 1st level up from the ground, is spacious and quiet. There is no lift to the apartment. Kitchen/dining/lounge area are one room but have plenty of space to move and relax with ample cupboard and storage space throughout. Master bedroom and loft bedroom have Queen size beds and modern fittings. Note: The stairs to the loft bedroom are steep and not recommended for the elderly or small children. Having 2 toilets in the apartment was appreciated.
The apartment is within walking distance of many tourist sites including the Pantheon, Tiber river, Borghese gardens, Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, Trevi fountain and Castle Sant’Angelo.
The best thing about the apartment is the location. Being both near to many landmarks and far enough away to escape the crowds when a quiet meal or stroll was desired. The only downside was the distance to the underground rail which meant any excursions which required a trip on a train took extra time. If staying at the apartment for a week however, as we did, this was not a big concern as we organised our trips each day to visit places on route to the stations.
Note: Because the apartment is located in Rome’s Centro Storico area, just outside of any major tourist area, many of the local shopkeepers have limited English. This should not be a concern to anybody wishing to stay at the Mirkos apartment as it was the friendliness and willingness to help of the locals that made our stay in Rome a very memorable one.

Francois – France – August 2009 – Stelletta2 apartment

We stayed in the Stelletta2 apartment last August with my friends. We were a bit worried about the heat as Rome can be pretty hot in summer. But on one hand we were lucky as the temperature in the city was acceptable and the apartment has a very good aircon system. The apartment is really spectacular, more than we expected. We booked last minute on a special offer and therefore it was a real bargain. There is also a satellite TV with french channels so we could watch the news in the evening. The beds are king size and very comfortable. We will come back this year.

Kec_11 – Canada – June 2011 – Mirkos apartment

You could not ask for a more ideal location in Rome. Once we got our bearings, we realized just how central we were. All major attractions within walking distance. Most less than 10 minutes. The apartment is just as pictured and clean. The bedrooms are well apart from each other therefore providing privacy if you choose to travel with another couple or children. The bathrooms are small by North american standards but clean and modern. We never did get the wifi working but it was not important enough to us to make a call to sort it out
