If you want to spend a quiet evening in the intimacy of your apartment you can invite friends round and cook for them or simply ask for our catering service to handle everything for you – all this in that kind of friendly and relaxed atmosphere impossible to find in hotels and restaurants. 2. Why Romecityapartments and not another agency? Because our objective is to the satisfy the customer in all aspects concerning his stay. We are not just a booking centre for holidays or business-trip lodgings, as are most of the agencies on the web. This is why we offer a range of services that will make your stay more pleasant and simpler. In short, we are the only ones who can offer a holiday without worries. We have innovative services such as: babysitting, if you have small kids and want some time to yourself, both during the day and in the evening; our catering services for when you want to eat at home but don’t want to do the cooking; our Shopping Service, if you want to find food when you arrive or don’t want to do the shopping yourself during your stay. Because we have solutions for every pocket. We have apartments that belong to every category possible, from luxury apartments in the city’s historic centre to apartments in residential areas of the city well linked to the centre. Prices are based on two criteria: the standard of the apartment and the area it is in. The most expensive are, of course, the luxury apartments in the city centre, but there are better-priced solutions. Without having to make sacrifices in terms of comfort, one can choose a luxury apartment in a residential area well served by transport into the centre or opt for a standard apartment in the centre. The choice is yours. Whatever suits your pocket, you have our guarantee that it’ll be the best money can buy. All apartments are described with care and in detail in the forms on the website and are checked out by us before the arrival of our guests. 4. Is an online credit card booking safe? Yes, it is perfectly safe; with our online payment service you run no risks. If you in any case prefer not to use your card on the web you can simply print the request form in the appropriate section of our website and send it together with the details of your credit card by fax. If you prefer you can simply phone them to us. If you have no credit card or do not want to use it, you can always book by sending the deposit by bank draft or whatever other creative means you might like to dream up and that we’ve not thought of. 5. Can I book without a credit card? Yes. If you don’t have a card or prefer not to use it, you can always pay by bank draft, with a Western Union money transfer or by any other means you wish 6. Do I need to pay a deposit in order to receive confirmation of my booking? If you pay by credit card, no. You simply authorise Romecityapartments to debit your card in the following cases and for the following amounts: • Cancellation of booking for an apartment between 30 and 14 days before arrival: 50% of total amount due • Cancellation of booking for an apartment at less than 14 days notice: 100% of total amount due • Cancellation of booking of an apartment on day of arrival or without giving notice: 100% of full amount due If you book with a bank draft or Western Union money transfer, yes, as follows: 20% of the total amount due; 7. If I have booked by credit card, can I pay by other means when I arrive? Yes, you can pay by cash as an alternative. 8. If I cancel a booking do I have to in any case pay a penalty? No, if you cancel prior to 30 days from time of arrival you don’t have to pay any kind of penalty. The only cost you will incur is that of the bank charges incurred by Romecityapartments for the restitution of your deposit if you have paid it by bank draft. You may choose whatever means you prefer for the restitution of the deposit: Western Union is quick but costly; bank draft is cheaper but slower. 9. Is the confirmation of booking for an apartment always immediate? Not always, but yes if you book via the automatic form on the website, giving your credit card details. In all other cases you will have a 48 hour option (no-one else will be able to book the apartment you’ve chosen) and you will receive confirmation when you: • Call in, fax or e-mail your credit-card details • Call in, fax or e-mail the details for your payment by draft or Western Union money transfer The above-mentioned operations must be carried out within 48 hours of booking if one wants to be certain of confirmation of booking for the apartment chosen. If for whatever reason more time passes, you can contact us by phone or e-mail to ensure that the apartment is still free. Should this be the case, we will be delighted to confirm your booking as soon as you give us the necessary information (credit-card number or details of your bank draft or Western Union payment). Should the apartment of your choice not be available, we shall be happy to offer you a suitable alternative. 10. If I am travelling and cannot access Internet can I book an apartment or ask for other services offered on your website? Yes, just call us and we’ll be delighted to give you all the help we can. We can also text message your mobile phone with all necessary information (deposit amount, address of the apartment etc.) 11. How do I book, pay for and cancel the other services you offer on your site? These are described in detail in the terms and conditions section. In synthesis:
